Fable for Blackboard

I chose this poem because of its word choice and lack of a real meaning. Almost all the nouns I had to look up in a dictionary because I did not know the meaning. After finding the meanings of the words the poem made a lot more sense to me. I feel fairly confident I'll do well presenting but I'm still not quite sure whether or not to use hand signs to show the poem meaning.

I don't believe this poem holds any personal signifigance to me nor does it mean much to me. I also don't think there is much of a connection between me and the poem. I will prepare for the contest by reciting the poem so many times by memorization that when it comes time to present I won't have to think about it. I can just concentrate on the emotion I put in to the presentation.
