Atticus Spreckens Little To Kinda

I think Atticus Finch's' parenting style is a bit odd. keeping info away from his children such as, "She our cousin? I didn't know that." Now knowing who your relatives are seems like something that shouldn't be kept secret from you. Of course there is no inclination in the book that Jem or Scout ask about their relatives but still, you'd think they would know.

My mother would tell me every update of the day if I asked but my father would regularly only give me the need to know basics.

Boo Radley is Changing his Image

"I pulled out two small images carved in soap. One was the figure of a boy, the other wore a crude dress... They were almost perfect miniatures of two children. They both had on shorts, and a stock of soapy hair fell to his eyebrows. I looked up at Jem. A point of straight brown hair kicked downwards from his part. I had never noticed it before.
Jem looked from the girl-doll to me. The girl-doll wore bangs. So did I.
"These are us," he said." (pp. 59-60)

I believe that Boo Radley had been watching them, Jem, Scout and Dill, and might have wanted to be with them. Boo Radley doesn't seem like a creep but a person who wants friends and to see what life is like outside his house. Mr. Radley was extremely religious. That might mean that Boo Radley is also very religious. Maybe its me but Atticus's discussion didn't sound very special.

Spooky Boo Radley

I believe the rumors are false. The people of Maycomb like any other town will say what ever they want to say about people they do not like. Say you hate a certain person and you want to make them look bad. You will say what ever you like to say about the person. And then the rumors start to spread as more and more people are passing down the message from you. I don't know, I'm just blabbering now. lol
I think I'm more similar to Dill because I do a lot more taunting and push people to do things more than actually doing it. Dill is kinda a wimp that makes bets. Just like me! I have only read one chapter of the book so I don't know everything about Dill so I can't compare Dill and I to closely. Dill is also a older brother which am I to. So its not only our personalities we have in common.

The Best Thing In English So Far!!!!

  • The best thing about English so far is the teacher, Mrs. Gilman. She is awesome! Never have I had a English teacher so hyped about technology. Not even my 6th grade sci-tech teacher Mrs. Piper wanted to get in touch with the blogging universe. This will make English much more exciting and original.

GO BEARS!!!
